Ronnie and Trish Robbins began ministry early in their marriage, when at the ages of twenty (20) and seventeen (17) they received Christ into their hearts.  Immediately they were launched by God in their calling.  Ronnie was part of a singing group, "The Robbins Family," which traveled extensively in churches throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.  Shortly after conversion, Ronnie felt the call to preach the Gospel.  During this period of their lives, the Lord opened many doors for the young group to sing and Ronnie would minister.  After three years of traveling, Ronnie felt the Lord leading him to accept his first pastorate.  He became the pastor of the Congregational Holiness Church in Caroleen, NC.

During this time of transition, Trish became more involved with ministry as well.  It was a this point she would begin to teach and lead the worship at the church.  After five and a-half years, the couple sensed the call of God to transition again and resigned their position as pastor at the Congregational Church and gave birth to Full Gospel Assembly.  The church began to grow  and moved from a storefront to an older funeral home and eventually purchase the land and build the facilities where NHC is currently located today.  



Pastor Ronnie and Trish transitioned the ministry in July of 2012, having stepped down as senior pastors, but will always call NHC home and will always have a special part in the hearts of those they have served for over 30 years.  This dynamic couple continues to be used by the Lord, not only in local churches but in missions as well.  They are affectionally know as "mom" & "dad" to many  pastors who recognize their calling and gifting in the body of Christ.  They are used mightily in marriage worships, as their practical teaching and personal lives  serve as an inspiration to others.
